Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the Fifteenth International Conference on Current Issues of Sustainable Development „Transition to sustainable production and consumption systems in a globalising world” and VI Polish Conference of Young Researchers „Contemporary challenges for sustainable production and consumption”, organised at the Faculty of Economics at the Poznan University, which will take place on 16-17 March 2015 in Poznan at the Student Culture Centre (Studenckie Centrum Kultury).
The conference will focus on contemporary challenges regarding creation of sustainable production and consumption patterns. More specifically, it will aim at creating a scientific forum for presentation of research results, exchange of views and experience and for discussion on issues regarding foundations, conditions as well as challenges for sustainable development in the areas of consumption and production.
The general aims of the conference are to discuss and analyse:
• sustainable energy production and consumption,
• sustainable aspects of global justice,
• challenges in developing sustainable consumption patterns – the role of young generations,
• technologies for sustainable consumption and production,
• sharing economy as a foundation for new interpersonal relations and consumer behaviours,
• the meaning of network organisations in building social connections,
• consumption expenditures on a way towards sustainable development.
