prof. Ewa Moliszewska, Jasmine, dr. Michal Wanke
As the new academic year resumes, the University of Boleslaw hosts another American colleague, who will be helping us out in our classrooms and instructing or co-teaching students in various study programmes.
This year, the Polish-American Fulbright Foundation assigned dr. Sarah Jasmine Stork as a new English Teaching Assistant. She will work with the students at the Department of Biotechnology and also at the Faculty of Philology under the supervision of prof. Ewa Moliszewska and dr. Michał Wanke of the two units respectively.
Dr. Sarah Jasmine Stork is one of the nine English Teaching Assistants in Poland for the 2021-2022 academic year. She graduated from the Ohio State University in Columbus with a master’s degree in Public Health and a PhD in Cultural Studies. Jasmine’s dissertation explored the presence of asexuality in fanfiction and the ways that readers online responded to fanfiction stories with asexual characters. She is being hosted by the University of Boleslaw and will be teaching career preparation and American culture courses.
