About the programme
If you wish to link your academic growth with the continUBus development of linguistic skills and gain teaching qualifications to teach English as a foreign language at all educational levels, study English Philology – Teacher Training Programme at MA level. Here, apart from developing practical language skills at a high C2 proficiency level of CEFR for languages, the students deepen their knowledge and academic skills in Applied Linguistics and EFL methodology as well as develop their practical skills in the context of teaching English.
The classes on full time studies are held from Monday through Friday. All lecturers are available to students during their office hours to discuss academic issues relating to their courses.
The graduates gain qualificationsto teach English in all types of schools. MA studies finish with an MA defense and an MA degree. Graduate studies also prepare candidates for doctoral studies in a similar field.

Our library and the reading room offer access to an extensive collection of Anglo-Saxon literature (more than 37 thousand volumes devoted to various aspects of culture and language of English speaking countries and 100 titles of journals and magazines devoted to teaching).

Our students finish their studies with strong communication skills in English in writing and speaking at C2 level, ability to search for information in various sources, to analyze and synthesize information, and to work effectively both independently and in teams. They are well prepared for a teaching career. The acquired skills and knowledge enable them to seek employment in public and private schools at all educational levels, language schools as well as cultural institutions, business or service sectors that require proficient command of English and liberal arts education .
